Award Ceremony 2016

The clouds unleashed its blessings on November 26, 2016; however, after a few hours the rain subsided and the sun shone through and we were able to carry on with the day’s proceedings.  The function was held under the theme “Investing in Hard Work…Earning the Profits of Success” and the guest speaker was Rev. Wanel Alexander, JP. Students were honoured for their outstanding academic performance.   These included twelve (12) students who were placed on the Principal’s Honour Roll and twenty-four (24) past students who achieved five or more subjects in the 2016 CSEC examinations; Malieka Brown was the top achiever with nine (9) subjects. The student with the highest overall average was again Jamilia Brown of 8M.

For the first time staff members were awarded for dedicated and committed service. Also past students Nordia Campbell and Dr. Taraleen Malcom-Morgan issued scholarships to six Business Students and six Science Students respectively- Ms. M. Sellers made the presentation to the principal.
